Deciding on a Clinic

Before you make a commitment and final decision about where you want to get treatment, do some research about the whole process.  Read other helpful bogs as well as this blog to familiarize yourself with the process.  This is the only way to ask intelligent questions and give yourself an advantage.  Without any background in laser treatment, you’ll be at the mercy of the clinic you visit.

To ask your clinic or laser technician the right questions, you must have some type of understanding of how laser treatment works.  That way you’ll be able to protect yourself from getting treatment from a sub quality medical office.

Cost of Laser Hair Removal

My best advice is to begin your search on the internet. It’s the most efficient way to get an idea of the pricing in your area and you can get a feel of the price range you are going to search through.

Laser clinics and laser hair removal offices typically will post some type of pricing schedule on their sites. Some offices may offer a set price but a price range is more typical. The price is usually determined based on the time that would need to be invested. How many visits you’ll need to make before success is achieved.

Laser hair removal cost is very dependent on the area you live in. If traveling to make appointments is easy for you, then branch out your search to surrounding areas. The extra mileage may be worth the distance.

Laser Removal for Facial Hair

Facial hair laser removal is the newest and the most efficient method of permanently removing hair on your face. You don’t have to be embarrassed any more.

Using laser treatment has many benefits.  It should as the cost is high.  Lasers provide a fast, easy, and fairly comfortable procedure that will allow you the freedom of hair removal maintenance for months and possibly years to come.

One of the benefits of laser is you don’t have to grow out the hair before beginning your treatments. It will likely take less than 10 minutes for each of your visits.  The number of visits will depend on the hair and the individual.  Usually the hair is sparse so not only are the visits short – the cost should be fairly affordable.  Since the areas are small, prices are much better than large areas such as the legs.
Another plus to laser removal is how it helps to prevent irritation and inflammation of the hair follicles.

The Bearded Lady

The majority of females have little hair on their faces.  We are all covered in hair but besides the eyebrow area, facial hair is usually very sparse and light in color.  Usually an abnormal amount of hair can be traced back to some type of hormonal cause.

Some women experience an abnormal growth of hair on their face during menopause.  Menopause affects everyone differently and facial hair is a possible side effect.

There’s also a medical condition called hirsutism which is typified by excessive body hair and is usually a sign of a hormonal variation.

No matter how natural it is, women very rarely want any obvious visual signs that they have facial hair.

We will do anything to maintain a hair free face to the world.  We use tweezers, we shave, and we use the harsh depilatories.

Facial Hair

Some people embrace their facial hair. They can't even imagine cutting or shaving off their facial hair.  For the majority of women this scenario is usually a nightmare.  Fortunately, it usually doesn't grow in a thick pattern for most although some women are prone to an unnatural abundance of hair.

The other group of people that like the idea of removing facial hair are men - they like the idea of permanent hair removal to finally get rid of the daily chore of shaving!
